I'm Thomas Clamp, a gameplay designer & scripter, currently studying game design at FutureGames in Stockholm, Sweden.
As long as I can remember I have been a tinkerer and had a deep passion for all things technical. I was always surrounded by Lego and Meccano when I was younger; always building, always creating. As I grew up this trend continued. No "void if removed" sticker was safe - I was taking it apart, and I was seeing how it worked.
When I wasn't creating, or destroying, I was playing games. While tech has been my passion, games have been my life. While my hobbies interested and intrigued me, it was games that gave me the opportunity to connect with some of the most incredible people around the world, changed my life and caused me to pick up my roots and move to a new country.
As I move forward with my career in game design, I am very concious of how games have affected my life. It would be an honour for me to pass on even a fraction of my experiences to others. To be able to acomplish that, I have to constantly push myself to new heights. If I look back at my previous projects and don't know their most significant flaws, then I haven't improved enough.
